This coming Sunday, August 21st, will be the 10th Aniversary of the original v0.01 release created by Nilllzz! This game and this community has come a long way in the 10 years since that original release. In the years since the game has gone from a small proof of concept developed by one person with encouragement from his friends for a small audiance to a robust engine with a nearly complete story package developed by a globe-spanning, multinational group for a large, global audiance. Thank you so much for being with us on this journey and I hope you will be with us for even more time to come!

In celebration of the anniversary we are planning a special event that will be hosted on Discord and the main P3D game server on Sunday. We hope many of you will come to participate. The event will include special prize pokemon that will be receivable by participating in game on the main server. These will be Pokemon that are otherwise currently unobtainable in Pokémon 3D! To participate in the event you will need to be on the most recent version (0.59.1), with a GameJolt save, in the main server. The event will be able to include even those who havent played further than surf, but will be best experienced if you have gotten through most of the game and unlocked most of the areas.

Last, but certainly not least, we have a new version! 0.59.1 is mostly a bug fix release (including fixes for trading, Cutiefly and Rolycoly, and roaming Pokemon), but it also includes a major feature that was only barely not in 0.59: Regional Variants, specifically Alolan forms! The keen-eyed among you will have spotted that the Alola region isnt present in P3D and so may wonder how to encounter these unique forms. You can find them in the Sevii Islands! The Alolan form Pokemon can be found all across the islands both in the wild and with trainers!

You can find the full, detailed changelog here!

Thank you so much for your continued support of this game, look forward to more updates coming in the future.

I spent many hours on this game, I started following it before releasing the Goldenrod City map, I had anger and funny moments, I loved how the game turned out, this is my favorite pokemon game.
