There are three different daycares in Pokemon 3D. These facilities allow for compatible male and female Pokémon to breed and produce an Egg. It also allows Trainers to leave up to two of their Pokémon to level up, costing Pokémon Dollar100 plus an additional Pokémon Dollar100 per level up for each Pokémon. Each facility uses the same mechanics but allows for a separate pair of Pokemon to be raised at each. This allows for a total of 6 Pokemon to be raised simultaneously.

Johto Daycare

This daycare is located on Route 34 just south of Goldenrod City. It is run by an older couple. It is the first one available, being just short of the third gym. The outdoors play yard is accessible through the main house to go visit Pokemon staying at the facility.

Kanto Daycare

This daycare is located on Route 5 just south of Cerulean City. It is run by a young girl with some help from her grandmother. The Grandmother reveals she trained the Johto Daycare couple who then trained her granddaughter. It is the second one available, being just after reaching Kanto. The outdoors play yard is accessible from both inside the house from the south and by jumping a ledge from the north to go visit Pokemon staying at the facility.

Sevii Islands Daycare

This daycare is located on Four Island straight north from the docks. It is run by an older couple. It is the final one available, being closed until after Team Rocket is dealt with in Kanto. The outdoors play yard is inaccessible to outsiders.
